| Commanding a
stunning view across the Argostoli estuary with views towards Einos and
across to Dilinata the studios are situated up a very steep track and
car hire although not essential is recommended. About a 20 minute walk
along the Fanari road takes you into Argostoli..........Kefallon.

| A new building
set in the heart of poros with views up the Poros ravine. Ideally
situated with all the restaraunts and bars in the main area of Poros no
more than 5 minutes walk at the most. Rooms are very spacious and the
apartments are like self contained flats with double bed, bed settee,
television, two balconies and a fully fitted kitchen!! strange for
greece but true here! Air conditioning is free. Spotlessly clean, the
rooms are cleaned daily with linen and towels changed three times
weekly. the apartments have a beautiful bar and restaurant area serving
fine meals, although the prices are not the most reasonable. all in all,
an excellent all round place to stay although there are two minor
niggles. As there is a bar in the building which does not close until
1am, if you are an early to bed person, you may be disturbed by noise
filtering through the building from downstairs. Second, because of the
location, you will experience quite a bit of traffic noise!
e especially if you have one of the
apartments or a room at the front of the building. this is more
noticeable around ferry landings(when lots of lorries come through) and
late at night when you are trying to sleep!........John_G

set in the port of Poros with views
over the harbour and towards Ithaca, the Dionisos studios are perfect
for a relaxing break. Gregory, his wife and staff will do everything to
make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are very clean and well
maintained, cleaned daily and with fresh towels daily and bed linen
changed 3 times weekly 3 bed apartments are available and some rooms
have 2 balconies. recommended........John_G

| Modern,
spacious studios set towards the back of Skala village down a side
street so no traffic noise and very peaceful. Studios cleaned every
second day and sheets and towels twice weekly. A 3 minute walk will take
you to the heart of Skala's main street while a further 3 minutes will
get you to the beach. Please note that as these studios are towards the
back of the village it is an uphill walk back to them so increase your
walking times slightly for the return journey. these studios may not be
suitable for those with walking difficulties because of the quite steep
climb, but otherwise highly recommended. I booked these studios through

| Set in the
heart of Skala above the excellent Galera restaurant, these studios used
to be offered on a bed and breakfast basis with breakfast taken in the
restaurant downstairs. Now they are rented out on a self catering basis.
The rooms were very cramped before with not enough room to hang your
clothes, in fact most of your clothes tend to take their holiday in your
suitcase... they cant get out! It is worse now since the fitting of a
\"cooker\" the fridge sits in the middle of the floor and you
virtually have to climb over the beds to get past each other. With no
storage space, your suitcases will occupy what little floor space you
have left. The beds have seen better days creaking every time you move
and the matresses are hard and lumpy. Linen and towels are also very
threadbare and not changed very regularly. I am fairly easy going when
it comes to holiday accommodation in greece as i am outdoors most of the
time and i may have just been unfortunate with the room i had.The location for the
beach and centre of Skala is excellent, but unless you are able to sleep
on a solid surface and don\'t mind spending a couple of weeks in a room
with about 3 square feet of floor space i would urge you to stay well
clear of the Marina studios............................John_G |

street. pool well looked after checked in a morning and in the
evening.open to everyone so can get a little crowded.

| These studios
are set on the side of the road leading down from Svoronata. Set in a
pretty garden position with greenery and lots of plants. A small beach
bar provides drinks and snacks. A nice sized pool with free beds and sun
brollies. The actual accommodation is typically Greek and basic. The
rooms however do need some TLC as they are a bit ragged. Not the
cleanest of places I have stayed. The owners are friendly and welcome
you. Linen was not changed as often enough as i would like but its only
a base, saying that There were small jobs which could have made these
rooms so much better but I feel the owner was more interested in his new
studios which had just been built and we were shown around them and they
were English show home standards and not tired old rooms like we

| 2007, this will be our third
stay in this hotel. fantastic scenery, 2 pools (1 childs). Limited
evening entertainment, nice lounge and bar area. Hotel staff are very
friendly.

| Located just
off the main road from Katelios to Scala just before the bridge.
Very nice accommodation, plenty of
room, nice little swimming pool, very quiet apart from some building
noise. The owner Hara is lovely, cake & water waiting for us when we
arrived, cleaned regular. Only downside while we were there in September
was that not all of of the outside lights were working so needed a
torch.
