Megannisi, now you are talking! that place is something else! What a view from spartahori!A great place for a chill out holiday!
Well bearing in mind it was 8 Years ago when we stayed there.
The Good:
Wonderful views from the front of the Hotel building.
Good Location for access to the resort.
Bar area great for sitting down with a book and chilling if you like people watching it's a great place for it.
Wonderful friendly staff well they were when we stayed anyway
The Bad
The Apartments don't offer any sort of views neither do they have any Private outdoor space.
Small pool area
No aircon in the rooms and the rooms (well there wasn't 8 years ago) were a little well how can I say it, typically greek!!!
If you manage to get a front room in the hotel building you will be thrilled with your view from your balcony.
Don't worry I'm sure you will love it we paid £555 for two weeks in August 8 Years ago that gives you an indication on the price.

John have only spent about an hour on Megannisi when we did the 3 Island Boat trip, however we are hiring a boat this year and hope to spend some more time on there so really looking forward to that Â*Originally Posted by john_g
Hi Al
That sound like a couple of the negative reports that I have already read, but apparently they have had refurb since then and some of the rooms now have air con not sure which though. Â*Someone from another messageboard who has gone there for the last seven years and Â*is back today is going to send me some pics, she has nothing but good things to say about them and like you says the staff are very friendly. I have requested sea view but then again I bet everyone has..lol so fingers crossed we will be lucky. We have paid £650 for the two of us for bed and breakfast, it was cheaper to do that then self catering Â*[smiley=022.gif] Â*
Thanks Â*

It's breeze getting from Preveza to Lefkas as there is now a tunnel under the water where the Amvrakikos Gulf goes into the Ionian sea (used to have to get a ferry across). Then you just drive on to Lefkas. I have promised myself I will go back to the Amvrakikos Gulf and do some dolphin spotting at some point in the future. There was an article in the Athens News a few months ago about the area - very interesting for nature lovers. (use the search facility as everything is archived).Originally Posted by ScouseAl
