Great Photo's Jan brings back some memories. Porto Katsiki looked nice and calm when we were there the waves were strong enough to knock me off my feet!!!

Also nice to see the waterfalls there was no water falling from the waterfall when we were there in August 99 it was just a very cool rock pool which helped us cool down from the 44c temperatures we were experiencing at the time!!

Did you get your soaked SD card sorted? There must be companies out there that offer a service, In work we use a company called Datastor to retrieve data from knackered Hard disks although it does cost a fortune (about 400 quid!!)

Thanks all, I have put a couple more on and will do some more soon.

Al we were told that there probably wouldn't be any water falling from the waterfall as it had been so hot, also that it wasn't that safe to walk there as a woman had been killed a few weeks before from rocks falling? I didn't get my SD card sorted, I had to take camera into Jessops for them to give me a written confirmation that the camera wasn't repairable for insurance purposes. They did try the SD card in their machine and it wasn't reading, also had a friend look who develops photo's and same thing. Jessops said I could purchase this programme for restoring lost pictures but couldnt promise that they would be restored so I have given up :'( Horrible when you remember someone took a photo of a certain thing then realise it was on our camera but between us all we have hundreds of photo's so all not lost.

Lefkas looks lovely ... one of the islands that is on my MUST GO TO list .... think I will look into this for next year.

Do you recommend Nidri as THE resort to go to?
