KABC or whatever its called now

Really surprised with how quiet this topic is in 2008 not being across to Kef yet this year (6 weeks and counting

) but

Does it look less obtrusive from the Lassi area now it is a bit weathered?
Anyone been there got a viewpoint on the place?
Who is running it now?
Is it the forerunner of many similar establishments?
Apart from the visual any other effects on local area?

Looked much the same to me - a blot on the landscape. Maybe people are used to it now. Wonder if they've updated the signpost to it yet as when I was on Lixouri in May it would not have filled me with desire to go there - there was a sign painted in 'emulsion' pointing down a desolate track it looked a bit bleak. However, when we were looking for a last minute deal in May my daughter was upstairs on her computer and she came down and said she'd found a great place on Kef, so I went up to have a look and guess where it was? Yeah you got it, had a quick look at the photos and it did look very impressive and does have the attraction of the indoor pool (for early and late season) and of course the spa and gym facilities and all inclusive which is attractive for some people. But we didn't go there.

I was wondering if the developments around Xi were in response to the building of the KGV and that it had marked the start of things to come as predicted.
