Libra Bar, Lourdas

Recently had a meal at the Libra Bar in Lourdas and have to say it was one of the best I have had in a long time here!

The hosts Liz and Jeff work really hard to create a friendly atmosphere and all their food is home cooked.

Tucked away in the old platanos this little bar/grill is often missed-but well worth searching out.

Always wanted to try this place but for one reason or another its just never happened. Will do on my next visit in October.

I drive by quite often but never go in because it always looks like it is closed.

Went to Libra bar last night and had a lovely meal. Had the Porterhouse steak and it was one of the best steaks I have had here in Greece!

We've always avoided "British" type restaurants while abroad in the past, but someone recommended Libra to us and we were delighted when we tried it.
We had a few meals there, the chicken curry is fabulous, Liz bakes all her own bread and the welcome is genuine.
Wish we'd tried it on other visits, but will always call in there now.

Hi Shaz, we've aways stayed in Lourdas. Have been going for years now. We always get about around the island to see the other places, but we love Lourdas.
