Old Plaka Argostoli

Set on the quayside at the Fanals end,this is a lovely setting for an evening meal as you can sit elevated on the terrace section and watch the goings on along the sea front. Friendly staff and typical greek food, watch out for the sheeps heads looking at you from the glass shelves.

Lucky your not head of the family then they used to get first chice, apparently the best bit is the eyes !

Chas got the other round things at Easter :-[ :-[ :-[ Diana's opposite the Lixouri ferry port in Argostoli.Great food and nice to chat with Diana and watch the world go by.

Porto Helis
Just a short distance from the elena studios this bar/taverna offers good food. Friendly Costas and Peter will welcome you. Unfortunately while we were their for a nice GREEK meal and night out the karioke started up in the bar section which is also outside and between the taverna and the shop, so no escaping the awful din of the loud music. A real shame as its a nice place to sit and eat, TIP Get rid of the karioke Costas!!! we want Greek music not rubbish English stuff, we can have that here anytime.
