marina anna aprtments
We stayed at Marina Anna apartments in Trapezaki the first time we came to Kefalonia. We were in the block over the road from the main building as there were four of us and we did not fancy squeezing into one of the studios by the pool! Very hard to find 2 bed places! Well, it was then, more choice now.
Very basic accommodation....not even a kettle on our first visit! But we loved the spot, a little mini market across the road (gone now though, another close by though, up the hill towards Mousata.......if it's still there!) gorgeous views across to Zante, we had our own little fenced in patio garden out the front - great for the kids.
The pool was lovely to relax by with the little snack/drinks bar - very handy - Katerina and her husband were very friendly.
We liked Trapezaki so much we came back again the following year and stayed in the same apartment...........a kettle and microwave this time.......bliss........apart from that it was still pretty basic but then you don't spend much time indoors anyway do you!
Trapezaki has a few restaurants, all very good.....Olive Tree, Dianas up the hill (moved to Argostoli now) and the Crystal Palace going up the road towards Lourdas.....all walking distance.
The beach is lovely and safe for kids with a little harbour and beach bar.
We were very tempted to by our land in Trapezaki but I'm afraid it came a close second to Spartia!
I still think Trapezaki is a lovely little place to go for a holiday.......fantastic views! It's a shame a lot of the tour operators pulled out.........well that's what I was told anyway.

We have stayed in Marina-Anna apartments many times. Before we bought the land and during the building and while we were in England Dennis was our overseer for the building works. Teggs is staying there this year and all the apartments now have air conditioning.

Pool
We used the pool at Marina Anna when we stayed at Bells,
very relaxing and quiet and every time we visited we were made welcome.
