Thanks Cwm we did the hard old slog in mid day heat and loved the views and the bits and bobs we spotted on the way but just wondered where this 'quick and easy' walk up is avoiding the way we walked up.

There was some work going on up there - well evidence of work, I think it was a Saturday when we walked up so there wasnt a lot going on but there was some plant machinery and a lot of building materials up there - we walked around to our left after coming through the 'entrance' but noticed to the right there seemed to be something being built - definately a crazy paving type road, but we were too shattered to explore further and just wanted to roll back down again!

Apparently when you look at the fort from the village you can see the zig zag road going up/or coming down depending on your own point of view!!! on the left of the road there is a, what was described to us as a goat track, you can follow. Never tried it myself thought we would stick to the zig zag road!!
