Spiradoula Apartments. Â*Has anyone stopped here? Â*Any reviews would be helpful. Â*We have been to Lourdas before, but not to this apartment. Â*Does anyone know the exact location? Â*Any pics?

Hi there

Yes I stayed there in June 2006, definitely recommend you make sure that you get a room on the first floor, they put me in number 5 on the ground floor and the room itself was quite big and fine but they hadn't cleaned and the worst thing was the view from my balcony was of a concrete bunker because it's down the side of the property and next door's bathroom window overlooked my balcony too! After a great deal of persuasion I managed to move upstairs and this was fabulous, I couldn't believe it was the same place, a fantastic view, a double bed and just better quality fittings and fixtures. I was very happy and would definitely stay there again as long as it was not on the ground floor.

Location wise it's next to the Beuna Vista down a steep path about 5 minutes walk from Maria's Supermarket on the main stretch at the top of the village. Pretty quiet but you do get a bit distracted by the gorgeous smells coming from La Mer restaurant which is owned by the same people.

Hi, I have booked to go to Spiradoula apartments, Lourdas in Sept 2010, I have just realised there is no pool belonging to these apartments. Does anyone know of a nearby pool that guests at the Spiradouls can use?

You can usually use the pool at any of the places that have a pool bar, (as long as you buy some drinks etc from them!)
