On my way from the Cephalonia Palace Hotel, my taxi driver had two people to pick up from the KGV. This gave me a brief chance to have a look. It certainly looks quite impressive once you are inside and the views are certainly spectacular. Having said that, it would not appeal to me and I was not too impressed with the entrance. It reminded me a bit of a prison camp with the barbed wire top fencing and electric gate manned by a security officer. It was very windy too and things were being blown about everywhere. One of the sunbeds ended up in the pool!
The KGV, according to the taxi driver, was virtually full(I am not too sure what the capacity of the hotel is). Anyway, it was worth seeing it and I thanked the driver for the opportunity. I think I will stick with the CPH though.
