China was great The digestive system bugs weren't so good . The Chinese people are very friendly and always have a smile. Some of the sights are amazing, especially away from the usual tourist places.

In the UK I only use my car horn once a year (before I take the car for an MOT). In China a car horn is used about 50 times during a 1 mile journey.

It is strange to be home and not have to share our 900 sq metre space with ¼ million other people and to walk onto a pedestrian crossing without being attacked from all sides by all types of un-roadworthy vehicles............. or to be offered a massage, or ....... no I won't say any more - this is a family board.

It was a great experience and I am glad we did it. Visiting our youngest was the real reason for the trip and we weren't disappointed ................. pity it is so far away.

3½ hour flights to Kef are long enough for us.

We are ready for a relaxing October break .............. any cheap flights to Kef?
