Skala day trip

Friends and family taking a holiday in Skala was the perfect excuse I was looking for to spend the whole day yesterday on the beach, have lunch at one of the many tavernas and then go back to their hotel for a drink.

Great photos. Blue sea, blue sky ............ a bit different from the UK today.

Where is the Akrogiali taverna? The view looks very familiar.

Akrogiali taverna is right next to the Express car rental shop 300 yards or so from the Taxi pickup point (the beach in on your right). We had various meat dishes, saganaki, kolokithakia (Fried Zucchinis) and a Greek salad. Fine food quality and the massive free ice cream at the end of the meal was great too. Nice, friendly service.

Thanks. I had forgotten the name of the taverna. We had a good meal there a couple of years ago. I thought the view was familiar
