Hi,

Got back thursday 9th June from Skala. We had the most fantastic wedding here, on the beach in front of our hotel the Anassa. Teresa our wedding planner had arranged for a red carpet to go down the wooden walkway and sand, I felt like a queen! The ceremony was beautiful, with our family there.
We then had a mini bus to take us up to the Kelari Taverna in old Skala. We couldn't have picked a better place to have our reception, the views were to die for and the food the best we had in Skala!! We ended the night dancing to Zorba the greek!
I would readily recommend this taverna to anyone and will definetley go back when in Skala again.

We used to go to a bar called BB'S so we called play pool for an hour and when we called in after our wedding the following day the bar staff presented us with a wedding present! We were totally gobsmacked that someone we hardley knew would do that. It just confirms one of our reasons to holiday in Kef, the people are so friendly and welcoming.

Yes it is the same lady, and everything went according to plan, no hitches what so ever.
The photo's were amazing with the sea in the background and then that wonderful view up in old Skala. I will try and post some on here. Hercules from the Anassa is also putting some up above the bar and in their photo album.

What a place to choose Skala, Kefalonia. Glad everything worked out, pic's should be great to see. We married there in 1999, glad to hear yours wasn't as eventful as ours.
