Question What are Enestron and Veremente grill like?

    Hi All.
We were wondering what the food is like at the Enestron Taverna and Veremente Grill?
Have never been to either of them, but want to try some new places.
Whereabouts on the Trapezaki road are they and will my other half be alright eating at the Grill as she eats fish and vegetables but no other sorts of meat?
    I will eat nearly anything.
One other thing, I read there has been a bit of activity at the Astra bar, it was closed last year 2010. Can we expect a grand reopening?
    Enough with the questions
    Thank you.
    John and Michele.

    Hi,
Veramente will not be opening this year at all ( I think there is a family illness or other problem) I hope it's open next year, because it was great in 2010.
I did hear that Astra bar was going to open at the end of June. Have a drink there for me, it's never open in May!

I bumped into Kyriaki from Veramente a couple of days ago and he said he was opening on the 20th June-maybe things have changed since then Cato?

Oh that's good news Campaisi! Very glad to hear it. We were sorry to miss "Sunday" this year.
    Directions for John and Michelle:-
From Lourdas, take the turning towards Trapezaki from Garbis jewellers. Travel about three quarters of a mile to a mile. Veramente is on the left, opposite another taverna called "To Γέφυρα" (The Bridge) I can't remember if they had any fishy delights on the menu, but they would most probably have some veggie options.

Thank you both. Good news on Veramente and the Astra. Not long to go now. Only got to have a tooth pulled on Thursday after shattering a molar on A Sainsbury's pitted black Olive that was not pitted!
A great going away and Birthday present. Combined with a bad fall down the stairs the the day before the tooth incident (I had not been imbibing alcoholic beverages).

Yes I spoke to Kyriacos and he says the Veremente will be opening on 19th June. He had a wedding to attend before this. As I drove past this morning he was starting to get the place ready. The grass has been cut and the weeding has been done. So glad because the food there is great, very traditional Greek food well cooked. Can't wait to go and have a meal there.

Thank you so much Bell. It is sounding better and better.
Had an email from Gerry at the Villa Mare this morning too.
Needed some good news at the moment.
Should not grumble, at least we are having holidays and I am still around to enjoy them.
