Took some photos this morning with my phone. The sea is more like the Atlantic Ocean today. It is coming up over the road and Mika and I nearly got soaked twice.Lourdas today.jpgLourdas today 2.jpgPhoto-0063.jpgPhoto-0064.jpg

Have you ever stayed in Kefalonia for the winter? x
Set the controls for the heart of the sun.
nice pictures bell, it wont be long before you shut up for the winter and head back to the uk ?
Thanks folks. Just having a bit of a holiday before we think about heading back. Don't want to go.![]()
It wasn't me, but there was enough debris on the beach to make several surfboards! I felt really sorry for the guy who lost his dinghy overnight - it was in 101 pieces on the beach together with the steps that used to be near Aridas Palace. I'll post a few photos when I have uploaded the SD card and used PixResizer.

More from 19 October. There used to be wooden steps near Aridas Palace attached to the steelwork in the last photo. They were smashed up opposite the Klimatis together with the remains of a boat etc

Great shots Phil, always thought those step were IFFY. Strange to see the water up so high. We were there on our last day the other year in similar conditions, it is very stange seeing the place windswept and the atmosphere changes totally, most things were shut we ended up back in Argostoli for lunch in Captains Table, all the plastic walls were up and the wind was still whistling about. Think we were nearly the last plane off the island and you could sense the island relaxing back into its winter slumber!
