Just being nosey

Hi all

I was over in May sitting at the bar of the Ionian sun and a group of regulars had come in and there was a couple who had arrived from the UK in an ice cream van. Sorry but I cannot remember their names.

I was wondering how they got on as there are couple in Alykanas ( Zante) who did a similar thing and from one of their postings on the Zante messageboard they were going to be selling ice cream from the van, but due to a "Law change" in May they were unable to do it and ended up opening a bar/ice cream parlour/ manufacturing business.

Hi Al, The business was set up and the plates were changed on the van and she started selling ice creams but then had to go back to Scotland but she will be back at the start of the season next year. She was not told that the law was changed and has the licence and permit to sell ice creams anywhere on the island.
