    Default Lourdas Villas

Can any of the Lourdas locals/experts tell me exactly where these villas are loacted please?

There are 4 of them ........... villas Kerkya, Kefallonia, Ithaki and Lefkas. They are descibed in the Thomson brochure as being 300 metres from shops, beach & tavernas. I suspect they might be at the south eastern end of the bay but I would appreciate any confirmation or comments.

    Cheers

    Phil,
The four villas are right at the end of the road which starts just below the Lara Hotel (left turn from the road to the beach), close to the spring of Paliofournos. A very long 300 metres from the village! - probably more than a kilometre. They are probably about 300 metres from the south-east end of the beach down a steepish hill, but a pleasant walk. The other alternative - about the same distance - would be to walk towards the Lara and take the steps down through the Ionian Sun.

The location is very quiet, but I think a car would be necessary, particularly at night, as the roads are unlit.

There are independent villas, probably of higher quality, closer to the village - but that would add the cost of flight-only to the holiday.

Hope this info is of help.

    regards,
    dafydd.

Edit: I have checked from the map. The four villas are about 1.2 Km. from the village by road and 400 m. from the extreme south-eastern end of the beach.

    Hi Phil,

The quoted 300metres is probably to Aridas Palace as the crow flies, which is stretching things a bit.
We stayed in Villa Leandra, on the same lane, but only about 100 yards from the Lara. No traffic noise and a really lovely villa. It's with "Villa Plus" they have its' twin next door, called Villa Andrea. Can highly recommend both, as they had no availability for 2 weeks, so we had the first week in Andrea and the second in Leandra.
We found it a really easy walk to everywhere from there and hardly ever used the car. Note: DON'T go with their car package, it's astronomical!

Phil they are above Ionian Sun and you can use the stairs down from the lane to the beach thru the pool bar.
