Havent been around for a while ,i was just wondering if the new harbour is up and running.
I used to love watching the ferries from the maistrali. T he port went mad for 2 hours aday it was great. Has anyone got any recent photo,s.

Hi Jamie

The new harbour area is up and running - it has been for 12 months or so. (but you know what my memory is like for detail).

The Maistrali seems popular now for young (and not so young) women with spiky hair and short skirts. You would love people watching there. The new harbour area has taken a lot of fun out of watching the hustle and bustle when the ferries come in, but I am sure it is a big improvement for the fishermen, yachtting visitors and the ferry crews and captains.

Thanks Phil would love to see them,its been a few years since i was last there. They were just building the new one and Alain in Otziva,s was doing his dinger over the dust and mud in front of his tarverna.How many ferries can dock at the same time now? Anyway looking forward to seeing your photo,s thanks.
