Enastron and Veremente, Trapezaki

We tried the Enastron restaurant on friday night and have to say we were very impressed.

Stunning views to start with! The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent.

We shared a plate of fresh Kalimari to start, our main meals were Stifado and grilled King Prawns, two beers for the old man and a meso kilo of white wine for me. Melon to finish it off! 38 euros-which for the quality and quantity was excellent! Only one small complaint-chips with everything-must remember to say no next time!

Veremente (is that correct Bell?) in Trapezaki, is a small grill which opened late last year. The views from the upstairs balcony are pretty good! For big meat eaters their mixed plates are excellent value at 12/15 euro for two people or 22/24 for four. Their mixed meze for two at 9.50 was very good too with home made chicken salad, aubergine dip, cheese pies, tomato balls, and a couple of greek spring rolls each!

Different places for different occasions but both well worth a try.

Yes you are correct Jackie. Kyriacos who runs Veremente is a very nice young man and a neighbour of ours. Excellent fresh food cooked traditionally on charcoal. Well worth a visit.

How I missed this review of Enestron and Veremente I do not know. will definitely be visiting both this year.

Veremente looking like it is about to open-signs up, chairs and tables outside, busy cleaning inside so maybe tomorrow...........................
