Back from Skala

Just returned yesterday from a fabulous 7 days in Skala (stayed in San Giorgio). The weather was unseasonably hot for June and was in the high 30's, but cooled down nicely the day before we left. Sallys bar and Apostolis every night and was lucky enough to be taken by our friends who live over there, to the taverna in Old Skala - the view and ambience up there was fantastic and would definitely recommend it.

Cannot wait to get back there, but will have to be next year now!!!!!

Whilst over there we realised how much we love the place and that we will always return each year!!! We weren't planning on going this year and have booked to go to Thassos in August, but realised in April that we needed our Skala fix!!!! Soooo glad we did go, even if it was for 7 days!!!!

I'm pleased to hear you had a good holiday. Did you walk from the San Georgio to Skala in THAT heat?

We enjoyed the Old Skala taverna too. Last month was the first time we found it open as we are usually in Kef too early or too late in the season. I thought prices were reasonable there when you take into account the superb location.

Glad you got your Scala fix . We had a great time in Thassos came back last week. and will be getting our Kef fix in August trouble is we love both places now and would like to try somewhere new as well.
