    I will be watching the Bettany Hughes prog on BBC2 tonight but I saw a Horizon programme some years back which had me convinced that Atlantis was actually located at Helike on the Peloponnese. In fact I was hoping Bettany's programme would be updating us with developments there but from the programme blurb it looks as if she is based in Santorini for the programme.
    Anyway, I drove past Helike on Monday thinking I didn't have time to stop and take a look. That's because I hadn't checked the news and so hadn't realised there was a ferry strike . . . grrrrr . . .
