Direct Holidays

You might have read elsewhere on the forum that I booked a holiday last night with Thomas Cook.

I notice on the email confirmation that the tour operator is Direct Holidays (part of the Thos Cook group). The same holiday is available today on their website www.directholidays.co.uk at the same price I paid last night, although it has now gone up a few quid on the TC site.

I also note that the hold luggage allowance is 20 Kg with Direct Holidays.

It might be worth checking the website if any of you are thinking of booking a holiday. There are some good prices for May and October.

I booked my flight out to Kef some time ago and got a good deal via Athens with Olympic. I left booking the return journey as I wasn’t sure when we would return, I’ve just booked with flythomascook back to Birmingham on the 11.05 for 37 euros, not bad eh.

That is a brilliant price Pete.

Probably the reason it was such a good price is because it will be the first Tuesday flight direct to Brum and there will be plenty of spare seats, as many people who flew out on the 4 May will be on 2 week holidays. That is certainly worth noting for future reference.

That about right Phil, it’s the first one that is returning.
I did make enquiries about the flight out on the 4th, but I was told that as it wouldn’t have passengers to return from Kef, it being the first charter it would go on somewhere else.
I said that’s a shame I’ll just have to stay for another week, the things we put up with.

It is a shame you aren't staying on even longer - we don't fly out till the 18th. We will miss you again.
