    Default Elios Taverna, Mavrata

A newish taverna on the crossroads at Mavrata (between Hionata and Katelios. It is easy to miss as there are no large signs outside.

You won't see many tourists in here, but it is very popular with locals. The food is excellent, well prepared and well presented. You are unlikely to get this quality in most tourist tavernas and prices are extremely reasonable.

A very warm welcome from friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Phil, is that the taverna where Fotis (beach Bar) now works part time after doing his bit in the mini market he has?

I don't think so. I read somewhere that he worked in a kafenion in Hionata.

Fotis has the lease on the kafenion, he worked at Marietta pool bar during the summer while his girlfriend ran the kafenion so would'nt be surprised to see him back in there.
