Can anyone help?

Its my wifes mothers 70th birthday next year and we thought we would take her to Kef, But its turning out to be extremely difficult to organise, There is going to be 5 of us going and we require 3 rooms, We cannot get in the 2 main choices (nine muses/Makis) because they wont allow a single person in a room on there own for some stupid reason So we have started looking at Villas, But seeing as shes getting on a bit we need somewhere near as possible to the beach/main street in Skala, can anyone recommend a villa that doesnt require a car drive every night to allow us to walk and eat out in skala.

I am sure there will be others on the board who have better knowledge of villas and accommodation in Skala then me

The main choices for villas are either up in Old Skala or out on the Poros road (in the Porto Skala area). It sounds like none of these would suit your requirements though as they are a long way from the beach and tavernas.

There are 4 villas just past the Paspalis but I am not sure who is their agent for next year - one of those might meet your needs?

I have another suggestion for a couple of adjoining beach front apartments that might fit the bill ( 4 beds + 2 beds), but you would have to book those independently.

They are high up on the hill above Skala. You will definately need a car for the duration of the hols. Nearest bar would be about half a mile and there would be no pleasure in walking up the hills with shopping/water etc.

Found these while I was browsing for villa's, not sure what they are like or exactly where they are but it does say near beach, shops and taverna's. They also might not be big enough for you?

* Distance to Shop: 800m
* Distance to Restaurant: 350m
* Swiming Pool Size: 9m x 4m, 0.9m-1.8m
* Distance to Beach: 400m

400m to the beach is not very far, which road leads to them, the one that runs near 9 muses?

Those are the same 4 villas that are on the Thos Cook website, so you can cross those off too .

Andy those are the 4 villas I mentioned which are set back behind a field on the beach road (between the Paspalis and plastic rocks!). They are 40 (not 400) metres from the sea.
