I think with all the budget airlines you have to pay in full at the time of booking. The same applies if you book flight only with Thomson & Thomas Cook.
I'd be interested to know what the payment policy is with the scheduled airlines. I'm sure a seasoned business traveller like cwm ddu can answer that.........

Payment up front for all flights I'm afraid.
Only time you may get payment split into deposit and balance is if you do the legwork for flights and accomodation yourself then ask your local travel agent if they can beat or match it. Then you are also protected by ABTA and ATOL regulations.
Remember that there needs to be a substancial period between your booking and the departure date to get out of paying 100% up front because even your local travel agent will want all monies paid about 8 weeks prior to departure.
Other thing that I quite often do is book my flights at the most favourable time for credit e.g. the cut off date on the card I normally use for business related items is the 21st of the month so i tend to buy my flights in advance on 22nd-25th. they appear on my bill one month later and have to be paid for by 14th-16th of the second month so 55 ish days credit. Buying in advance usually means much cheaper flights as well.
