News from this side regarding the KGV. I can confirm it is currently closed (with the consequent upsurge in all-inclusive guests, particularly Serbs and Slovakians, at the Cephalonia Palace Hotel. There is a local rumour that it may open for just one month during this season but I cannot see it happening!
The new development near to Xi is coming on very quickly and will be a large 5 star all inclusive resort hotel called the Appollonia. It is changing the landscape around here considerably. I do hope there will be a curb on anything further which would potentially destroy the predominantly rural and agricultural aspect of this side of the island!
