we met up with them on holiday in Thassos. He is norrmally on another Kef forum so told him what a great site this was.

Welcome to the board and thanks for uploading those great pics of Thassos. Once again I can understand why many of the regular Kef lovers also love Thassos and Skopelos ............... I'm very tempted.

Just found the album and clicked on the first picture which is of the Hotel George and if that big red arrow is indicating that that is the room you stayed in well believe it or not it's the same room that we stayed in when we visited Thassos in August 2001.

Is the English lady (can't remember her name) still running the hotel with her Greek husband as when we were there they were thinking of selling up.

Thanks for the great pictures. We think we can now manage a holiday in September, it will probably be just for one week. I am having a hard time making a decision of whether to go to Kefalonia or Thassos
