Hi,can anyone tell me is it possible without killing yourself in the summer heat(July) to walk from lassi to the Galaxy Hotel on the Fanari road.How long would it take.we are fairly fit 40+. who like to walk, is it a decent path? We are thinking of staying at the Galaxy Hotel . Is It far to walk into Argostoli from there too, how long ?This will be our first time in Kefalonia

Takes about 2hrs steady walk in to Argostoli on Fanari road
not sure how fa=r to Galaxy Hotel.

It's a while since I've walked the loop but I would think from the Galaxy about 30 minutes steady walk to Argostoli (fairly flat) and 45 minutes in the other direction to Lassi (a bit of a hill). Have a look on GoogleEarth and you could measure the actual km to get a better idea.

I think Skalarocks has timings right. It's a lovely walk especially in the evening, and there's a couple of nice tavernas with tables next to the seashore. I would suggest that if you walk it during the day to take water with you.
