Default Road from Lourdas to Marinopoulos

Just thought I would let you know that they are now widening the road from Trapezaki where the tarmac ended. Soon instead of turning right at the crossroads at Trapezaki and doing a left at the mini market to join the road near Anastrom you will be able to drive across on to Tarmac not pot holes!!!!

Thats great news Bell, soon it will be one straight road all the way from Garbis Jewellers in Lourdas to Maranopolis. Turn left and you are aiming straight for Argostoli.

Cuts out a few kilometers and tonnes of bends.

I'm sure Hugh's motorbike will be delighted when it is finished . It should be much easier on the big ends and con rods....................

When I took Mika to the beach this morning the road is closed from the crossroads to the tarmacked(!!!) bit. Must be doing some more work there.

Tis open Bell, tis open. Yippee.

Mind you, no lighting and a nasty drop off the edge.

    Be careful at night.

Yes it is Hugh. Have been told that there will be lights. But as you say it's a bit of a drop.
