Lovely Guesthouse, used to be the Police station and court house. We have booked the handcuff suite for some reason.

How can I put this.....handcuff room sounds interesting though!

Have fond memories of a drink or two at the Kings head in the Mardol with a bunch o guys from Tern hill, you anywhere near Shrewsbury?

I am so looking forward to getting away in June, looks like a trip to Sicily in August then my other half said she can find some time at half term in October to go and see my sister in Paphos. Don't know where we find the money, at least we only have to find the airfare. Used to love being billeted in Cyprus in the winter, much warmer than Ireland.

Have a friend that lives under Clee hill called Lorraine Dodd, not seen her for a few years. Was working for the M.O.D.
    Lovely area.

Had a lovely week, couldn't believe how hot it was, Stef actually bought some sun lotion and used it, never been known!
A lot of places not open but plenty enough for us.
Booked a room with sea view which was a mistake at this time of year, faced due north and didn't get any sun whatsoever, was very cold especially after a shower.
We asked to be moved but they said why not use the heater, air con & heater on the wall, no charge!
That made all the difference but bought the damp in, black walls! didn't bother to move as only there for the week, those rooms will be the ones to go in in the summer!
We paid 80euros for one day car hire, don't tell Kostas at Venus!!
I got in the pool once but it was a tad cold! apparently the sea was warmer, beach there not up to much and no sunbeds out anyway.
Have got some pics I'll put on later.

    Welcome back Janey.
Glad you had a good break and some sunshine. Look forward to the pictures.
We had sunshine on our N Wales trip and I saw the tops of the Glyder mountains for the first time in thirty two years. Over did it a bit and am laid up with the old war wound now.

My big sister lives in Paphos on Cyprus, was a little village when she first moved there.

Welcome back Jane, pleased you had a good time! If i remember, the best beaches are over on the other side of the island! Still, there is so much to see over there and where you stayed was great for relaxing!
