    Default Cyprus

We are off to Cyprus 1st - 8th April.
First Choice, Hotel Souli, Latchi, looks quite quiet, temp should be around 18c - 20c
We are flying from Exeter rather than Bristol as the flight times are better.
Overnight from Bristol, land there midnight, back here 4.30am.
Exeter take of 7.30am back here 18.30.
At that time of the morning should'nt take longer than getting to Bristol.
Does anyone know what currency they take, son says cypriat pound & english pound, hubby says euros?

Janey, the official currency in Cyprus is the Euro. See here for more info... http://www.cyprus.com/cyprus-tourist...ency-south.php
However, I'm sure that some places will still take £ Sterling

    Have a great time!

I wish I was going, would love to be walking in the Troodos mountains in Sunshine instead of The Carneddau in Snowdonia. I keep trying to get my other half to go somewhere sunny on her Birthday but back to North Wales we go. It is beautiful but we normally are clmbing in a Blizzard. Have a lovely Holiday and enjoy the Sunshine.

You're right about it looking quiet Janey, We drove through it several years ago..........It took us about 30 seconds!
Enjoy it, it is in a remote part of the island but there is some stunning scenery very close to where you are..........i'm jealous!

The old ankles went years ago, which got me a discharge, still manage to drag meself up the odd mountain. I was chatting to some old friends the other day and the about a little get together we had over Hay bluff. Why do I still get the biggest bergen to carry at my age and girth. Have fond memories of a drink or two at the Kings head in the Mardol with a bunch o guys from Tern hill, you anywhere near Shrewsbury?

I am so looking forward to getting away in June, looks like a trip to Sicily in August then my other half said she can find some time at half term in October to go and see my sister in Paphos. Don't know where we find the money, at least we only have to find the airfare. Used to love being billeted in Cyprus in the winter, much warmer than Ireland.

Not long now Janey, have a fun Birthday, my girlfriend's is on the 4th don't fancy swapping Cyprus for North Wales by any chance?
Lovely Guesthouse, used to be the Police station and court house. We have booked the handcuff suite for some reason.
