Just over five weeks to go until we revisit Skopelos. I'm really looking forward to this trip. We first went to Skopelos in 2001 but only for one week. I fell in love with the island and was going to go back again the following year but the tour operator (Libra) pulled out of the island with only six weeks to go.
Then we discovered Kefalonia and the rest is history!
Last year however, we decided to have a change of scenery and visit Skopelos again. We had planned a visit to Kefalonia in September last year but the XL collapse 48 hours before we were due to fly put paid to that.
As time gets closer to this trip, Eileen is starting to get very nervous. She is thinking that the same is going to happen to this holiday.....that we are going to get within a few days of going and the operator is going to go under!
No matter how i try to calm her down, the doubt is always there.
I can sort of understand hoe she feels but when i have a stressful day at work the last thing i want to do is come home and listen to the same story! Now, where is that bottle of whine...........oops, wine!!
