Week 2 update

Rate this Entry
It's been a full on week in the household this week with daughter taking her a level exams, the good news was she managed to get through the snow and ice and the school understood how important it was for the pupils who had worked all over Christmas break to do the exams and not put them off to the Summer.
I have also has the pleasure of a 3rd party audit from Lloyds Quality Assurance checking we have processes and procedures to deliver projects. Have to laugh you get all this story around no pressure only doing a few checks and i eventually got grilled for 2 hours having to produce 27 different documents all of which had to dovetail into one another.
If that was not enough in the afternoon had the pleasure of an exam myself for my part time degree, glad to say if i have passed i will not have to worry about shear force and bending moment diagrams ever again!! still it could have been worse the exam area was holding over 30 different exams that day and the rows next to us were doing calculus and its a strange thing i always remember that was the point where i stepped of maths in my youth because i could never got the hang of it .
For some light relief i upgraded the boards software last Thursday to a firmer version. This i believe has caused some people with logging in issues hopefully you are all able to login without issue now, if not let me know via contact on other boards anyone having issues and i will get it resolved.

Good news in Bristol the snow and ice did a very quick thaw on Friday morning and roads and pavements are now back to normal which has made most of us in the house very happy and the amusement with snow had warn off.

Sounds like you had a pretty busy time Martin. Bet you're glad that that's all over with.
