Back after a short interlude.
One of things I used to do when I was a lot younger at this time of year was.....no not that!
No, seriously, pre-season football training. I was living in Sussex for most of my serious football career and this time of year I could be seen on a Tuesday & Thursday evenings shuttle running, star jumping and press up'ing my way through the evening.
So 30 years on and in an attempt to keep just overweight rather than obese! I am still hankering ...

Isn't life great?
Let me explain. Last Sunday my wife (Sue) came running in from the back garden shouting "Graham, there's a bird flapping in the corner of the garden hanging from its beak"!
Now I don't know about you? However, I am not the most comfortable of people around flapping birds, least of all if they are suspended from their beak! However, at the risk of being called "soft" I followed Sue and ventured out into the back garden to see what raptor had befallen ...

My Blog virginity broken!
Listening to Chris Evans radio programme yesterday, he spoke about the different levels of rain. No not in inches or centimetres, but in terms of light, heavy, torrential and violent. Violent rain now that I have to see!
This morning's toast and peanut butter was accompanied by torrential, well at least that is how I would describe the "Big Fat" rain falling on the back lawn and patio! No sooner was it here than it was gone and the warming sun created ...
